day 3 of rain and general grayness. not that i am complaining; this is rare and will soon pass. i didn't even have to wear a coat to work today. i simply remember too many chicago winters to even commence complaining about the weather here.

life continues to be erratic, and i have taken a hiatus from relationships for a while. i just am not ready to rely and i cannot afford to be subsumed.

on a brighter note, i started rock climbing with ben and it has been amazingly fun! i love co-committing to doing something physically bettering with a good person. it's great! i am a complete novice and still have a hard time tying in, but i'll get the hang of it. i really wanna get to the point where i can boulder like mad.

this week in class we start wedding cakes. mine will be two-tiered. wrapped in pink fondant. with sugar paste pearls. and next week we bake off our croissants. i am going to miss this class so damn much.
